Cuddington Youth Club
Building confidence, connection and leadership
The Challenge
Cuddington Youth Club wanted to create a positive, inclusive environment where young people could engage well, build confidence and develop stronger relationships with one another. Supporting positive behaviour and encouraging young people to take part in meaningful activities were key priorities.
The Solution
Thrive Support worked closely with the young people at the club, using a consistent, engaging and empowering approach. By building genuine respect and trust, the team encouraged the young people to get involved, support each other and take ownership of parts of their sessions. Thrive Support also helped some young people work towards their AQA leadership qualification, giving them the chance to develop practical leadership skills in a supportive setting.
The Outcome
Since Thrive Support came on board, Cuddington Youth Club has reported no behavioural issues within the club. Young people are engaging incredibly well, their confidence has grown massively, and some have already begun showing strong leadership skills by running parts of their own sessions.
